PUDAK SCIENTIFIC is once again actively participate in educational development, especially in Indonesia. We recently participated in the development of Rumah-Rumah Pintar (Smart Houses). One of them is the Rumah Pintar (Smart House) Setia Waspada which is located in the Cikeas village, Bogor regency, which is founded and managed by the Tunggadewi Foundation. Located inside the Paspampres (Presidential Security Guards) housing area, this Smart House is the 6th in Bogor or the 240th Smart House throughout Indonesia.

Inside the Smart House there are seven centers: books center which provide a variety of books, stationery and calculation tools; educational games equipment center, audio-visual center, computer and language center; crafts center; science center and aviation science center. PUDAK SCIENTIFIC is participating in supplying educational aids equipments which are located in the science center.

PUDAK SCIENTIFIC’s tools in the science centers consisting of laboratory furnitures (student demonstrations desk, student chairs, and laboratory cabinets), Junior Physics KIT and Biology equipment - SSN series; Elementary Science KIT - SEQIP series; and Elementary Mathematics KIT - MaSDa series.

The First Lady, Mrs. Ani Yudhoyono, on Friday, January 7, 2011, was pleased to inaugurate the Setia Waspada Smart House, accompanied by the wife of The Vice President, Mrs. Herawati Boediono, and the wife of The West Java Governor, Mrs. Netty Heryawan. On that occasion, the First Lady has incised mark on a charter-hand as a sign of the inauguration of the Smart House.

In her visit to the PUDAK SCIENTIFIC science center, the First Lady hopes the existence of this center can become a solution, interest supporter and to improve the science skills of children in Cikeas and the surrounding areas, including schools particularly those located in Bogor Areas.
